Obviously, I don't want anything too complicated (running and jumping in SMB is still a challenge for her), and something that would be appealing to young kids. Kind of funny thinking back on all the "rough" shape carts I had gotten rid of that I didn't want.Īnyways, I guess the reason of this thread is to look for suggestions on what types of games to pick up. Didn't want her to destroy anything "good" from the personal collection. I was going to pick up old "rough" shape carts from some of the users here in the Buy/Sell/Trade area. Ive come to the conclusion, I'm going to hook up my old NES and SNES to an old tube TV I have in the garage. Since then its kind of branched out, letting her try a few things here and there on my NES/SNES emu R4.
Letting her know that her daddy played the hell out of that game when it came out, she loved it too. I introduced her to some old school NES, SMB3 on the Wii. Today lunch I watched her beat some of the boss levels. She loves the New Super Mario Bros, and is pretty good at it (all things considered). Over the last 6 months or so, my 4 1/2 year old has taken a liking to my DS. I've got a 4 1/2 and a 2 1/2 year old, both girls. Ironically, this thread is exactly about that.
